Money Clip

mon·ey clip | ˈmə-nē klip

noun

A device used to store cash and credit cards in a compact fashion

A money clip is a small device used to store cash, important papers, and credit cards in lieu of a wallet. Money clips can be made from a variety of different materials, including semi-precious metals that include carbon fiber or titanium, and may be as simple as a single fold of metal or more elaborate depending on the gifter and the nature of the person wearing the money clip. Money clips may also be magnetic - allowing for two pieces of flat magnets within metal that are encased in leather and snap together to hold the money and credit cards in a careful carrying position. These magnetic clips can hold up to 15 banknotes folded.
