Minimalist
min·i·mal·ist | ˈmi-nə-mə-list
adjective
A jewelry design which is simple and sparing
Minimalist jewelry is any type that is considered simple or sparing, using less material to make a bolder statement. These types of jewelry are designed to subtly enhance the look of the wearer, and to not stand out and be the centerpiece. It generally fits with almost any type of outfit because it can match a simple, understated look or something much brighter without creating distractions. Several recent design eras have exercised minimalism in some form, including Art Deco, Retro, and Mid-Century. The most common type of minimalist jewelry is the Solitaire Engagement Ring.
