Classic jewelry is often used as a synonym for vintage or antique jewelry - timeless jewelry, jewelry that never goes out of style. All terms are regularly used to describe Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro, or Mid-Century jewelry. Classic jewelry are signature pieces that are worn by individuals from all ages, considered the foundation to any outfit, that can be worn attending places as casual as the grocery store to a red carpet event. Common examples of classic jewelry pieces include: diamond stud earrings, hoop earrings, watches, stacking rings, simple bracelets, pearl necklaces, bangle bracelets, cocktail rings, anklets, pendants, and layered necklaces. Oftentimes, classic jewelry pieces one may see while out and about have been passed down from generation to generation, and therefore, are worth much more than one would suspect. These generational pieces should be handled with good care, and be cleaned with a blend of warm water and soap with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
