Description
This stunning men’s wedding ring features five princess cut colored gemstones, with each flush set on one side of the pentagonal palladium band. It was created for a client from Shoreline, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom with a very clear idea of what he wanted. After discussing his stylistic preferences with him, we created a detailed CAD model of his design, which he approved quickly so we could move it into production. Men's Wedding Bands

Pentagonal Band
The outside of this band is pentagonal, coming to five points which are evenly spaced around the perimeter. The sides between these points are flat and straight, while the inner band is still perfectly round to ensure a comfortable fit. This causes the band to be slightly thicker at the points, and it is seven millimeters wide all the way around.
Gemstone Accents
Each side of the ring holds a single princess cut gemstone, and each one of these is a different color. The accent stones include blue, green, red, and white sapphires, as well as a black diamond, and they’re all flush set just to the side of the point. They’re also aligned with the groove that marks the separation between the body of the band and the top rail, which is the other defining characteristic of the design.
Contrasting Finishes
In order to make the separation between the two sections of the ring more clear, we introduced different finishes on the body and rail. The wider portion holding the gemstones is brushed, and the rail is polished, creating a delicate but distinct contrast that added a wonderful complexity to the design.

After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
