This elegant engagement ring features a cushion shaped diamond prong set in the middle of a diamond halo, with diamond and leaf metalwork accents on the band. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, who worked with our team in our Bellevue, WA showroom to put together the perfect outline of their dream ring.

Center Setting
The main stone in this ring is a 0.71 carat cushion shaped diamond, and it’s prong set in 14k white gold above a slightly squared halo of split prong set diamonds. The sparkle of the diamonds in the halo is beautiful on its own, but it also helps intensify the brilliance of the larger stone due to the additional light it sends up from below. Diamonds are a traditional and timeless choice for engagement rings, and their dazzling beauty makes for a truly special piece. Halos are also a popular feature, and they help bring a bit of vintage flair while also creating the perfect frame for the larger center stone.
Accent Diamonds
Split prong set diamonds run down the shank shoulders, and these work to tie the two parts of the piece together, while also intensifying the vintage effect. The use of the split prong setting minimizes the amount of metal used, letting the diamonds shine through as much as possible while still holding them securely, and this reinforces the slimness of the band design as well. Milgrain and Leaf Filigree
Between the halo and the band on either side of the main setting are two leaf shapes that each hold a bright cut set diamond. The leaves themselves are lined with milgrain, as are the leaves in the filigree that sits directly below the main diamond and is visible when the ring is viewed from the side.
Decorative beading also runs around the inner margin of the band, and this ties in with the milgrain to give the ring a nice, finished feel. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.

Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
