Women's Wedding Ring Description

This beautiful women’s wedding ring features round bright cut set diamonds in a line across the top, with custom hand-engraved accents on the contoured platinum band. It was created for a client from Charlottesville, VA, who had previously purchased an engagement ring from us, and who was ready to design a wedding band to match.

Because the engagement ring had a pear-shaped center stone, she wanted the wedding band contoured so that the two would fit snugly together. She shared some examples of what she had in mind with us online, and we used these inspiration pieces to develop a unique design for her set. She loved what we came up with, and she quickly gave her approval for us to move her project into production.

Contoured Band

The band of this ring is straight and narrow most of the way around. As it nears the top, however, it angles out gradually, eventually forming a point right where the center accent diamond is set. Having a contoured wedding band like this ensures that both of your rings will line up perfectly when they’re worn together, and it creates the sense that they’re coming together to form a new whole, just as you and your partner are doing. Diamond Accents

There are nine round diamonds bright cut set along the top of this band, and these begin in almost the same place as the accent diamonds on the matching engagement ring. The diamonds on the wedding band are smaller, and there are more of them, but the placement and use of the same setting style helps clarify their place as a unifying feature nonetheless. Hand Engraving

An elegant scroll pattern is hand-engraved on both ring fronts, and this also matches the pattern and placement of the engraving on the companion wedding ring. Delicate milgrain beading lines the top of this engraved section, helping to give it a satisfyingly finished feel.
