Women's Wedding Ring Description

This stunning women’s wedding ring features round black diamonds bright cut set in an eternity pattern all the way around the white gold band. It was created for a couple from Saint Clair Shores, MI as part of a matching set that also included another identical wedding band and an engagement ring. We had made the engagement ring for the clients previously, and they came back to us when it was time to have the wedding bands made. Matching Wedding Sets

Black Diamonds

Forty-four small black diamonds encircle this band, all of which are round and bight cut set. Together they total 0.44 carats, and their rich black sparkle creates a dramatic contrast with the silvery 14k white gold they’re set in. They also serve as a stunning counterpoint to the large white diamond in the center of the companion engagement ring, helping to make it stand out even more.

Metal and Setting Options

The use of the bright cut setting for the diamonds gives the piece a vaguely classical feel, but if you wanted to take that even further, you could add some milgrain beading to frame the diamonds all the way around. Alternately, you could switch to a shared or split prong setting to cut down on the amount of metal visible on either side of the stones, or you might want to go with a channel setting for a more contemporary look.

The 14k white gold used in this ring matches the metal used in the companion engagement ring as well, but there are other options to consider if you’re interested in introducing more color into the design. For instance, rose or yellow gold would add some warmth, and you could use champagne or even pink diamonds to soften the entire presentation and really enhance the classical flair.
