Women's Wedding Ring Description

This gorgeous women’s wedding ring features two lines of round bright cut set diamonds running across the top half of the band, with one on each side of the knife edge. It was created as part of a custom wedding set for a couple from Seattle, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to view some sample pieces and begin the custom design process.

After learning a bit about the kind of designs that they liked, our team put together some models in CAD that the clients viewed through the online workroom we set up to manage their project. They requested some modifications to this initial set of proofs, and they shared some other designs that they wanted to draw from as well. Bright Cut Set Diamonds

There are 53 diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and bright cut set. They total 0.26 carats all together, and they run in two lines across the top of the ring. This mirrors the placement and setting style of the accent diamonds on the companion engagement ring we also made for this couple, which is a detail that really helps to unite the set. Band Design and Customization Options

The band is made of platinum, and it features a knife edge all the way around, as does the companion engagement ring. This hallmark of this kind of design is a peak in the center, with sides sloping down towards the finger on either side, and these sloped faces are where the accent diamonds lie.

If you’re interested in customizing this design, there are several avenues to explore. For instance, you could use a different setting style for the accent stones, particularly if you’re trying to match an existing engagement ring that uses another type of setting. Other options include integrating some colored gemstones or switching to a colored metal if you’d like to bring some contrast to the piece. Or you could add custom hand engraving on the lower portion of the band for a more vintage look and feel.
