Engagement Ring Description

A lovely variation on the traditional diamond engagement ring, this piece originated as a custom design for a client. It combines the central solitaire diamond with plenty of accent stones, including a hidden blue sapphire, to round out the design and give it a feeling of elegant sophistication. Diamond Solitaire

The diamond at the center of this ring is a round brilliant cut, and it’s tension set between the split ends of the cathedral shank for a truly dramatic presentation. Bright cut set diamonds also run down all sides of the platinum shank to the half way point, providing additional sparkle that emphasizes the beauty of the center stone. Diamond Engagement Rings

Hidden Stones

Two blue sapphires are also incorporated into this design below the center setting, one on each side. Their color works well in contrast to the white of the diamonds all around, and the diamonds, in turn, also increase the richness of the blue.

Milgrain and Hand Engraving

While the gemstones are certainly the most dramatic design elements in this particular piece, it is the added touches that really bring the ring to life. These include beautiful hand engraving done by our skilled artisans. The pattern in this ring was specifically selected by the client, and we can adjust it to suit your tastes as well.

A delicate milgrain also runs from 3/4 of the way down the side of each shank all the way up to the crown of the setting, helping to tie all design elements together. It adds a vintage flare to the ring, making it a truly timeless design and a wonderful way to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter in your life together.
