Split Shank

This 14k yellow wedding ring is designed in a split shank style and features 23 diamonds on the outer rim. The band splits organically to bend and point out in a V-shape shank. The inner rim is designed in milgrain which contrasts with the diamonds on the outer shank.

Milgrain is a technique applied from long ago by jewelers, they use tiny beads of metal to decorate jewelry, often adding a vintage aesthetic. This technique was most popular in the Art Deco period. In this design, the use of milgrain elevates the overall look and adds an additional layer of detail to the band.

The round brilliant cut diamonds featured in this ring are sitting in proximity in a shared prong setting. This will allow for the stones to show and shine with less metal being used.
