Women's Wedding Ring Description

This elegant women’s wedding ring features a row of round bright cut set diamonds along the top of the band, and this is accented with milgrain and custom hand engraving. It was created for a client from Reedsport, OR for whom we had previously made an engagement ring. He requested we design a wedding band to match, and he shared an image of a ring he liked. We adapted that piece to meet his other specifications, and he was very happy with the finished product.

Bright Cut Set Diamonds

There are 33 small round diamonds in this ring, and they are bright cut set in a line across the top of the band. The original inspiration piece the client provided was flat, and so the row of diamonds took up the entire top portion of the ring. But because the engagement ring he already had was domed, he wanted the wedding band to be as well. Matching Wedding Sets

Due to the nature of the bright cut setting, however, it was impossible to make the piece domed and also have the diamonds dominate the view from the top down. To get the look he was looking for while still integrating the diamonds, we suggested making them smaller and using more metal on the sides to create the domed look, and he and his fiancee both loved the idea.

Custom Hand Engraving

The custom hand engraving that covers the entire band was made to match the engraving found on the engagement ring as well. It continues all the way around in an eternity pattern, which makes for a stunning effect and a wonderful symbol of everlasting love.

The engraving on the engagement ring did stop about three-quarters of the way down, but because we were unable to borrow it to have the wedding band’s engraving stop at exactly the same point, the client thought it best to just keep with the eternity pattern for the wedding band.
