Women's Wedding Ring Description

This beautiful wedding ring features channel set baguette diamonds and a trillion diamond pointing out from the engagement ring it is contoured around. It was made for a client from Seattle, WA, to perfectly match their engagement ring, which features a knife edge, trillion side stones, and an Old European cut center diamond.

Our custom design process was vital for the creation of this piece because it was important to make sure the wedding band exactly lined up and matched with the engagement ring. The client requested a few changes to the CAD models, and then viewed a printed wax model with her engagement ring to confirm the design. Trillion Center

In the middle of this wedding ring sits a trillion triangle cut diamond. It has sharp corners and is equilateral in shape. It perfectly matches the trillions that were used to from the center stone on the engagement ring, and is held in place by one chevron prong and two standard prongs. When worn with the engagement ring, it points outward from the center diamond so that the triangle diamonds frame the center on three of it's four sides. This creates an opportunity to duplicate the ring to have one on each side of the engagement ring for balance and extra sparkle. Women’s Custom Wedding Bands

Modern Design

The shoulders and shank descending from the diamonds at the top of this ring are in a knife edge design, meaning the polished platinum metal rises from both fronts to form a soft continuous point around the ring. This is a modern touch, and the baguettes channel set at the top framing the trillion are very contemporary. If milgrain was added, it would decidedly change the style of this piece from modern to vintage.
