Men's Wedding Band Description

This elegant men’s wedding ring features an organic pattern of branches in relief all the way around the ring, with a bezel set ruby in the center and contrasting finishes highlighting the design. It was created for a couple from New South Wales, Australia, who worked with our team extensively online to get every detail just right. Design Your Own Wedding Ring

The clients had a clear idea of the type of design they wanted on their ring, and they chose certain elements to match her engagement ring. These included both the selection of metals and the ruby accent. The branch design was something the clients wanted to ensure was exactly right, and so we modified our CAD models, integrating their feedback every time, until they were completely satisfied we’d captured their vision.

Branch Pattern

A pattern of branches continues all the way around the ring, loosely forming three repeating sections. The pattern is altered slightly near the ruby, allowing the branches to wrap around the stone rather than passing through below it. The branches also sit up above the main surface of the ring, and they’re polished, while the background is sandblasted. These contrasting finishes help the branch pattern to stand out, and the matte effect created by the sandblasting enhances the organic themes already present in the design. Bezel Set Ruby and Band Design

The lone gemstone in this ring is a 0.12 carat round ruby, and it’s bezel set in platinum in the center of the band. The clients chose this stone to match the heart-shaped ruby in her ring, and it adds a wonderful burst of color without being overpowering. In order to make sure the stone was the perfect shade, we brought in three rubies and sent photos of them to the clients so that they could make the selection themselves even though they couldn’t visit our Bellevue, WA showroom to view them in person. The outer surface of the band is made of platinum, and an inner ring of 18k yellow gold sits inside of this up against the finger. The inner ring is thin and only slightly visible from the sides, but it was an important detail for the clients, as her ring is also made of platinum and yellow gold.
