Men's Wedding Band Description

This elegant men’s wedding band features a mokume gane inlay framed on each side by polished white gold rails. It was created as a custom piece for a client in Georgetown, KY, who worked closely with our staff online to get all of the details just right. Even though he was unable to visit our showroom in Bellevue, WA, this client came away totally satisfied with his ring in every way.

Mokume Gane

The mokume gane inlay in this ring is made of a combination of 14k rose gold, palladium, and sterling silver. It was created by our expert artisans, who’ve spent years perfecting their technique in order to forge beautiful pieces like this one.

Because of the way mokume gane is made, no two pieces will ever be exactly alike, even if they’re made with the same combination of metals. Including this in your ring helps ensure that it is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.

Metal Options

Depending on the colors and type of pattern you want your ring to have, you can choose different metals to make up the mokume portion of a piece. But that’s not the only metal choice you will have to make. For instance, while this ring uses 14k white gold for the shank and polished rails, you could change that to rose gold or platinum if one of those creates a look that’s more in line with your personal style.

To reduce color fading, avoid friction against any surface. Avoid wearing your mokume ring during exercise, construction work, gardening, or other abrasive activities. When owning a mokume gane ring with oxidization, avoid chlorine or other similar chemicals as they eat away the patina.
