Channel Set Diamonds

There are three diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and channel set in 14k white gold. These diamonds combine to total 0.09 carats, and they bring a burst of glamour to the piece without being overpowering. Band Design and Contrasting Finishes

The band itself is 7mm wide, and its top surface is divided into three parallel sections by narrow grooves that run nearly all the way around. The raised sections that result are brushed to create a matte surface, while the grooves and ring fronts are polished. This contrast helps to clarify the design details, and it also brings a more modern look to the ring.

At the top, on either side of the line of diamonds, a pair of grooves separate the channel setting holding the stones from the rest of the band. These grooves cut perpendicularly across their counterparts, and the groove closer to the diamonds is wider than the outer groove.
