Men's Wedding Band Description

This elegant men’s wedding ring features a blue sapphire flush set inline with a section of custom hand engraving, and a light brushed finish on the rest of the white gold band. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA as part of a custom wedding set that also included the women’s rings. Design Your Own Wedding Ring

Band Design and Flush Set Sapphire

This band is squared on the outside, with four corners and slightly bowed-out sides. That gives it a bit more heft than a perfectly round ring, although the interior margin is still a circle for a comfortable fit. Two parallel grooves run all the way around the band, creating a narrow section in the middle that’s exactly the width of the flush set sapphire at the top.

This sapphire has a rich blue color, and it’s a baguette cut, giving it an elongated rectangular shape. It adds a burst of color to the otherwise monochromatic band, while the use of the flush setting keeps it from overpowering the other design elements. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands

Hand Engraving and Contrasting Finishes

The space between the grooves on the rest of the ring is filled with lovely custom hand engraving that matches the engraving on the client’s fiancee’s engagement ring, which we also made. This engraved section is polished, which helps the engraved pattern stand out, and the pattern of the engraving itself involves flowing lines that offer a nice contrast to the angular design of the band.

On the other side of the grooves are wide, flat rails that feature a light brushed finish, creating a soft matte surface. These contrast subtly with the high polish on the center section, helping to highlight the engraved detailing further and bringing another layer of complexity to the design.
