Fashion Ring Description

This dazzling women’s fashion ring features round diamonds shared prong set in four staggered rows across the top of the tapered platinum band. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who used the Ring Builder feature on our website to initiate the custom design process.

We worked closely with her, both through the online workroom we set up to manage her project and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to determine precisely what size diamonds she wanted in her piece and how she wanted them arranged. We also created a wax model for her to view before she gave her final approval to move things into production.

Shared Prong Set Diamonds

There are 28 diamonds in this ring, all of which are round and shared prong set in platinum. The diamonds are arranged into four rows, and they’re staggered in their placement so that the middles of the stones in one row line up with the edges of the stones in the next row. All together, the diamonds in this ring total 5 carats exactly. Fashion Rings

The client really liked the look of rows of diamonds arranged this way, but she wasn’t entirely sure how large she wanted the diamonds to be, what width she preferred for the band, or how far around she wanted the stones to go. By viewing sample pieces in our showroom, various iterations of digital models, and the wax representation of the design, she was able to get a good feel for exactly the dimensions needed to get the look she was after.

Band Design

The band maintains a constant width dictated by the lines of diamonds across the top of the ring, and it tapers significantly coming down towards the bottom once the diamonds end. This allows for a more comfortable fit, and it also serves to emphasize the impressive display of the diamonds above.
