Fashion Ring Description

This stunning ladies’ fashion ring features two round brilliant cut diamonds set in a swirling, organic shank, with diamond and milgrain accents. It was created for a client from Renton, WA, who worked with our team extensively online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to perfect the design. We went through many revisions of this piece to get it just right, and this allowed us to create a ring that perfectly reflected her vision and personal style. Design Your Own Ring

Center Design

The center of this ring includes two round brilliant cut diamonds side by side, both held in four prong 14k yellow gold settings. The diamonds’ brilliance is accentuated by the contrast with the warmer color of the metal, and their placement next to each other gives the piece its unique shape.

Twisted Shank

The client originally wanted a two-tone shank design using some combination of rose and white gold. But after viewing renders of several different color options, she decided to go with the solid yellow gold look. Each side of the band runs straight up until about the middle of the shoulder, where it curves to the right to wrap around one of the diamonds.

These wrapped pieces meet in the middle between the two stones, and paisley accent segments split off from there to complete the circuit and connect with the band on the opposite side of the center setting. The whimsical twists this creates give the ring an elegant and unique look, which is just what our client was going for.

Accent Stones and Milgrain

Bright cut set accent diamonds run from the midway point on the band to the middle of the loop around each diamond, and they’re worked into the paisley sections as well. These add sparkle to the piece, and they also unite the two sections, bringing secondary contrast and really helping the larger center stones to stand out.

The accent diamonds are lined with milgrain beading on both sides, and a line of it runs between each stone as well on a diagonal, which mirrors the twists of the band nicely. Decorative beading also continues from the spot where the diamonds stop on the center loops all the way to the middle of the ring where the two strands meet.

These details enhance the elegance of the design, and they also bring a classical flair to the piece, which works nicely with the choice of yellow gold for the band. Vintage Engagement Rings
