This lovely custom engagement ring features a round brilliant diamond center with tapered baguettes on either side, diamond accents down the shoulders, and filigree under the baguettes. Three Stone Style

This ring is considered "three-stone" because it features three large gems. The center is a 1.25 carat lab grown round brilliant cut diamond held in place by dainty claw prongs. Tapered baguette diamonds, totaling over half a carat, are held in place by bar settings, which are extremely secure and allow the diamonds to be fully exposed. Three Stone Engagement Rings

Tapered Baguette Diamonds

Baguette diamonds are amazing accent stones. They can be sourced in many sizes and in both a straight cut (perfect rectangle) or a tapered cut (long trapezoid). With the long parallel step cut faceting, tapered baguettes help to highlight the center stone. The tapered look also tends to lengthen the look of the wearer's finger. Diamond Engagement Rings

Final Details

Leading down from the tapered baguettes on each side, there are 18 diamonds tapering down in size to continue the tapered look. They extend just past the halfway point, and the bottom section of the ring is polished white gold.

The design of this ring makes the height a bit higher than most. The high setting allows plenty of hand-swirled filigree to be set in the sections underneath the tapered baguettes, adding a vintage surprise to the entire aesthetic.
