Engagement Ring Description

This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in the center of a squared halo of bright cut set diamonds, accented with bright cut and channel set diamonds and milgrain beading on the scalloped rose gold Euroshank below. It was created for a local client, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Diamond and Halo

The centerpiece of this ring is a 0.75 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s prong set in 14k rose gold, and it’s surrounded by a squared halo of bright cut set diamond accents. The sides of the halo curve outward gently, a detail that echoes the partially-squared design of the Euroshank below. The softly rounded corners of the halo also line up perfectly with the prongs in the main setting, and the more angular nature of the halo helps to highlight the perfect curvature of the center diamond’s elegant shape. Band Design and Diamond Accents

The top surface of the band is made up of two rows of marquise shapes that meet at their widest point, leaving diamond-shaped spaces between them as they run down the sides. In each of these openings between the marquise shapes, a single round diamond is channel set, and smaller accent diamonds are bright cut set inside each marquise section. Rose Gold Engagement Rings

Double rows of milgrain highlight the margins of each marquise shape, adding significantly to the vintage overtones of the design. The intricate pattern contained in the band design brings an openness and delicacy to the piece as well, and the milgrain ties in with the same feature lining the accent diamonds in the halo.

The diamond and milgrain accents stop at the corners of the Euroshank, which extend out on the lower quarter of each side. This arrangement gives the ring a nice balance, and those corners also help prevent the ring from spinning on the finger when worn.
