This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant diamond set with six prongs with a filigree basket and marquise shapes down the shoulders, all in rose gold. Diamond Center and Accents

The center of this ring is a 1 carat round brilliant diamond. It is held in place by 6 prongs, which give the diamond extra security and also keep with the vintage aesthetic. There are three marquise shapes flowing down each shoulder in a cathedral style, and inside each shape is a small round diamond. These scalloped shapes add to the classic look of the ring and keep it dainty. At the same time, a matching vintage could easily sit flush against this engagement ring. Vintage Engagement Rings

The basket under the center diamond is inspired by a similar solitaire rose gold ring. Although it looks delicate, it is structurally sound. It is similar to filigree but plays an integral role in supporting the center diamond.

Customization Options

One option would be to use colored gemstones, such as morganite or sapphire or a birthstone, as the accent gems. Morganite would also be gorgeous as the center stone with the rose gold. Finally, in the six marquise shapes, you could have actual marquise diamonds, which would add more sparkle to the piece as well as modern glamour.
