This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in white gold, with tension and bright cut set diamond accents on the cathedral shank. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, and we made this matching wedding band for them as well.

Center Diamond

The center diamond in this ring is one full carat and round brilliant cut. It’s held in place by four prongs made of 14k white gold, and these rise up naturally from the lower portion of the cathedral shank. As the band reaches the center setting, sections of each side cross over to form the prong on the opposite side of the diamond, creating a soft criss-cross design on each ring front. This also leaves the sides of the center setting completely open, allowing plenty of light to reach the main diamond and providing a clear view of this gorgeous gem from either side.Diamond Engagement Rings

Band Design and Diamond Accents

The intricate shape of this band is created by the placement and settings of the accent diamonds that run down its sides. On top, four round diamonds are tension set along each shank shoulder, and the shape of the setting makes it seem a though they’re suspended within a diamond of metal.

These unique setting contours are formed by the outer curves of the bright cut settings running down both ring faces, each of which holds a single round diamond as well. Put together, the settings create an intricate latticework that gives the piece a decidedly antique flair, and it matches the spacing and arrangement of the diamonds in the companion wedding band as well.
