Engagement Ring Description

This exquisite engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond bezel set in the center of an organic filigree setting, with diamond, milgrain, and custom hand-engraved accents on the platinum band. The design was developed in consultation with a client from Redmond, WA, who found two antique-style pieces he liked and asked us to combine them into a new unique ring.

Thanks to the high-quality CAD models we create for all custom pieces, we were able to show him remotely how the different elements from the two pieces could be combined, and that helped us ensure that what we designed for him was exactly in line with his vision for the piece. We worked with him primarily online, although he did come into our Bellevue, WA showroom to discuss the project and to pick up the ring once it was completed. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Diamond

The stone in the center of this ring is a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in platinum, with a ring of milgrain beading framing it beautifully. It’s raised up slightly from the surrounding filigree, which helps it stand out just enough while not overshadowing the rest of the piece.

Organic Filigree Setting

The beautiful organic filigree that makes up the bulk of the center setting is made of loops of platinum that intertwine and curl around each other. There are also some leaves tucked into several corners, which helps reinforce the floral overtones of the design, and the milgrain beading enhances the ring’s antique styling. Accent Diamonds and Hand Engraving

Several round bright cut set diamond accents are worked into the organic filigree, with the two larger stones tucked on either side of the center diamond near where the shank shoulders come in. There are also three smaller diamonds at the top and bottom of the main setting, giving the ring a nice balance and just the right amount of sparkle.
