Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a prong setting atop a two-tone wrapped shank. The design was developed for a client from Lynwood, WA, who had specific ideas about the types of features she wanted to include in her ring.

After she shared some inspiration pieces with our team online, we created a sketch for her of the ring we proposed to build, followed by highly detailed CAD images. At every step along the way, she and our staff communicated on exactly how she wanted to adjust things, and once she was completely satisfied with the ring, we put it into production. Center Setting

This piece features a 1 carat round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong setting made of 14k white gold. A strand of 14k rose gold comes up from each of the shoulders of the shank to wrap completely around the center setting, and this brings beautiful contrast to the design as well as a wonderful swirling movement.

The warm color of the rose gold set next to the sparkling white of the diamond really helps highlight the stone’s brilliance, and it makes for a truly unique presentation. This ring also gives a nod to tradition thanks to its use of a single diamond, or solitaire. This has long been a favorite choice when it comes to engagement rings, but as is clearly demonstrated here, there are many ways to incorporate that feature into a truly one-of-a-kind piece. Two-tone band

The main band of this ring is made of 14k white gold, and that continues all the way up to form the prongs holding the diamond in place. Starting about three quarters of the way down each side of the shank, a strand of 14k rose gold emerges and gradually splits off from the main section.

These continue all the way up to the top of the ring where they each wrap one full time around the base of the diamond setting, bringing wonderful motion as well as contrasting colors to the piece. Our client toyed with the idea of using contrasting finishes on the two different types of metals, but eventually decided she preferred a high polish for the whole piece.
