Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round blue-green sapphire in a six prong white gold setting, accented by bright cut set diamonds and milgrain beading on the yellow gold shank below. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, who came to us with a good idea about the type of ring they were interested in designing. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

We used the information they provided on our initial meeting, as well as the sample images they shared, to develop a unique ring for them in CAD. They requested some minor modifications, and we grew a wax for them to view in person before they gave their final approval to move things into production.

Center Sapphire

At the center of this design is a 1.08 carat round sapphire with a rich blue-green color. The shade was particularly important to the client, and we sourced one for them based on the sample images they provided. The sapphire is held in a six prong setting made of 14k white gold, and the lower portion of the prongs that cradle the stone are formed to resemble flower petals. This detail plays into the overall organic overtones of the piece, and it adds a delicate elegance to the design. Sapphire Engagement Rings

Two-tone Band Design and Diamond Accents

While the center setting is made entirely from white gold, the band is 14k yellow gold, and the contrast between the two helps to highlight the separation between the different areas of the piece. The designs are not totally divergent, however, as each shank shoulder holds three leaf shapes lined with milgrain beading, and these work to reinforce the organic elements already present. Within each leaf, a single round diamond is bright cut set, with the six total accent stones in the ring combining to total 0.07 carats. They add just the right amount of glamorous sparkle, and they provide a satisfying contrast with the deep tones of the sapphire above.
