Engagement Ring Description

This exquisite engagement ring features an emerald cut emerald prong set in the center of a three-stone setting, complemented by an emerald cut diamond on either side, as well as shared prong set diamond accents on the narrow platinum shank. It was created for a client from Mercer Island, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom initially to begin the custom design process.

He had a good idea about the type of ring he wanted for his fiancee-to-be, and so we took the information he provided and turned it into a unique custom design in CAD. We shared these proofs with him online, and he quickly approved them to move into production. Emerald Center and Side Diamonds

The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.79 carat emerald cut emerald, and it’s held in place by four platinum prongs that arise smoothly from the trellis setting below. This setting also extends out to either side of the center to integrate the two side diamonds, which are both emerald cut as well.

Combined, these two stones total 1.39 carats, giving them the perfect proportional relationship to complement the center without overpowering it. That dynamic is further enhanced by the orientation of the center, which is inline with the band rather than set lengthwise across it. One of a Kind Engagement Rings

Additional Diamond Accents

A line of round shared prong set diamonds begins just beyond the side diamonds on each shank shoulder, and these continue down nearly to the bottom of the ring. The shared prong setting keeps the amount of visible metal around the diamonds to a minimum, and it brings a nice classical flair to the piece as well. There are 20 of these small accent diamonds in all, and they total 0.25 carats combined.
