Engagement Ring Description

This beautiful engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in the center of a three-stone setting that also includes two pear shaped diamonds, all of which are perched atop a criss-cross white gold band. It was created for a client from Snoqualmie, WA, who came into our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to begin the custom design process.

After reviewing some design options and discussing his preferences with our team, the client was able to come back in to see some of the pear-shaped diamonds available for use in the side positions. After he had selected these, we developed a set of CAD proofs of his design, and as he was very happy with them, we quickly moved his piece into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Three-stone Setting

At the top of this ring, a 0.86 carat round brilliant cut diamond is flanked by two pear shaped diamonds that total 0.49 carats combined. All three of these stones sit in a trellis setting in which the prongs holding the diamonds cross over each other on their way up to the top. This gives the piece a delicate elegance, and it mirrors the criss-cross design of the band as well. Three Stone Engagement Rings

Band Design and Diamond Accents

Although they’re connected at the bottom, the two strands of the split, criss-cross shank never quite merge into one. They run side by side across the lower portion of the ring, and then begin their outward and inward movement about one-third of the way up each side. This gives them space to cross over each other twice before they reach the center setting, where they continue their graceful curves, wrapping around the side pear shaped diamonds in the process.

One strand on each side holds a line of bright cut set diamond accents that continues all the way up to the top. These help to highlight the elegant movement of the strands, and they add a glamorous sparkle to the design as well.
