Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a princess cut diamond in the center of a three-stone setting, with round blue sapphires prong set on either side. It was created for a client from Dallas, TX, who reached out to us online to learn more about the custom design process. He had found a couple of inspiration pieces he wanted to borrow from, and he also had a wedding band that he hoped to match the engagement ring to. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Once we had a good idea about the look he was going for, we developed a set of CAD proofs of his custom design. He was able to view these online and provide feedback, which we then used to adjust the models until they were perfect. During the custom design process, the client also sent us the wedding ring he had previously purchased so that we could match the color of the sapphires in the engagement ring to those in the wedding band exactly.

Three-stone setting

The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.01 carat princess cut diamond, and it sits at the top of a three-stone trellis setting made of platinum. The two round sapphires that complete the center setting are also prong set, with the strands holding them emerging from the intertwining latticework on the ring fronts below the center setting. They total 0.37 carats combined, making them a good size to complement but not overshadow the beautiful diamond at the top. Princess Cut Engagement Rings
