This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a double prong setting, flanked by marquise shaped side diamonds that are integrated into the filigree on the shank shoulders, and accented with milgrain beading on the rose gold band below. Three-stone Setting

The centerpiece of this ring is a round brilliant cut diamond, and it sits up high above the band in a double prong setting that adds an ornate elegance to the design. On either side of this, a marquise shaped diamond is bezel set flush with the top of the shank shoulder, producing a novel version of a three-stone setting. The marquise side stones are arranged to lie in line with the band, and their elegant shape flows smoothly into the surrounding filigree that makes up the top portion of the band. Filigree and Milgrain

Beginning just above the mid-point on the band, an intricate filigree forms the body of the ring, giving it an openness that only helps to increase its elegant classical flair. The filigree is lined with milgrain beading, and this detail surrounds the bezel set marquise diamonds as well, helping to further connect both elements to the band design as a whole. The use of rose gold for the ring only adds to the vintage overtones produced by these other design features, and the way it contrasts with the brilliant white diamonds adds another dimension to the piece as well.
