Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond at the top, with clusters of three small round diamonds on each shank shoulder, and bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain surrounding those side groupings. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who initially reached out to us online to share his inspiration for the ring he wanted for his girlfriend. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

He posted an image of an inspiration piece that he had, and we shared some others that were in line with the combination of features he’d described. Once he chose a general direction to go, we proceed to the CAD phase of the project, and he quickly approved our models to move things into production.

Center Diamond

The diamond in the center of this ring is a 1.01 carat round brilliant cut, and it’s cradled in a four prong platinum setting that arises from a single point directly below the main stone. This holds the center up in a position of prominence above the clusters of diamond accents on the shank shoulders, allowing plenty of light to reach it and helping to increase its sparkle. Diamond and Milgrain Accents

Tucked on either side of the center diamond are clusters of three round diamonds, also prong set in platinum. These angle slightly outward to flow inline with the curve of the band, and they’re positioned so that two are closer to the center and one is further away, producing a tapering shape that facilitates the transition to the narrower band as well. A draped band of metal wraps around these clusters, connecting to the sides of the prongs on the center setting and ending in a point just beyond the clusters of side stones on the shank shoulders. These hold lines of bright cut set diamonds, and they’re lined with milgrain beading for a bit of vintage flair.
