Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set at the top, accented by channel and split prong set diamonds on the tapered platinum shank below. It was created for a client from Wenatchee, WA, and she provided some of the accent diamonds used in the ring. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

She had a clear idea about the kind of ring she was hoping to design, and we shared some CAD proofs of the design as we proposed to build it with her through the online workroom we set up to manage her project. She requested some slight modifications to this initial model, and once we’d integrated her feedback, she quickly approved the design to move into production.

Center Setting

At the top of this ring, a 3.50 carat round brilliant cut diamond is suspended in a four prong platinum setting. The way the center section of the band rises up dramatically as it transitions into the center setting lifts the diamond significantly off the finger for a more dramatic and glamorous presentation. Diamond Accents and Band Design

This dramatic lift is balanced out by the two outer bands that split off the main portion of the band and continue around in the original curvature of the ring on either side of the center setting. These are lined with channel set round diamond accents, some of which were provided by the client. We sourced the remaining stones needed to fill the space to match the diamonds she provided, and the integration of her own stones brought even greater meaning to the piece as a whole. The center section of the band is also lined with accent diamonds, both small and large. In the middle of the strand, a row of five larger diamonds are channel set, with smaller diamonds split prong set on either side. This combination of sizes and setting styles brings a subtle contrast and complexity to the ring, along with a substantial dose of glamorous flair.
