Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a specialty prong setting, accented by bright cut set diamond accents on the tapered platinum band. It was created as a custom order for a client, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to view some different ring styles and discuss his vision with our team. After finding several pieces he wanted to draw from, he worked with one of our designers to determine the best way to combine all of the features he liked into one unique piece. We used his input, as well as the sample pieces, to develop a set of CAD images of the ring we proposed to make for him. He quickly approved these, and we had him come in again when we were ready to set the center stone so that he could pick out exactly the diamond he wanted. One of a Kind Engagement Rings

Center Setting

The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s cradled in a four prong platinum setting that sits directly on top of the main curve of the band. The setting begins as one solid piece across the bottom, and four leaf shapes gradually emerge, narrowing as they rise up the sides of the diamond until they form the prongs at the top. This gives the ring a decidedly floral feel, and it highlights the elegant shape of the center stone as well.

Diamond Accents

Bright cut set diamonds run up the shank shoulders, starting at the mid-point on the band and ending just before the sides of the center setting. The diamonds in this line are largest at the bottom, tapering in size as they move towards the top to fit in the space available. Another line of accent diamonds runs along each ring front below the center setting, providing a lovely and glamorous flair with some surprise sparkle.
