Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a cushion cut solitaire diamond set in platinum and accented with several smaller stones. It was created as part of a custom bridal set to go with a matching wedding ring for a client from Bothell, WA. She shared her inspiration with our design team and then worked closely with us to create a set of rings that were exactly what she had envisioned in every way. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Solitaire Diamond

A solitaire diamond is a traditional choice for engagement rings, but that still leaves you with options when it comes to the size and cut of the stone. This ring is centered around a 1.61 carat cushion cut diamond, which is secured by a four prong setting atop a cathedral shank.

The openness of the setting really lets the beauty of the stone shine through, and it also combines with the polished finish of the band to give the ring a glamorous and modern feel. Diamond Engagement Rings

Accent Diamonds

Running down the shoulders of the shank are accent diamonds laid out in an alternating pattern of marquise and round cut stones. This evokes an organic leaf pattern, while also matching up perfectly with the arrangement of stones in the companion wedding band.

These diamonds also help to enhance the sparkle of the center stone by reflecting light back up in that direction. And their variation in shape and size adds texture and depth to the design as well.

Customization Options

While this is a lovely piece in its own right, there are many ways you can adjust or add to it to make it better reflect your own personal style. For instance, you could choose a different type of gemstone to replace some or all of the diamonds, which would both add some color and also introduce a new layer of meaning into the ring.
