Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a radiant cut diamond, with clusters of accent stones on either side, and hand made filigree accents. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who initially came into our Bellevue, WA showroom to look at some pieces and begin the conversation about creating a custom piece.

We continued to work with him, both online and in person, to finalize the details of his fiancée's ring and make sure we were on the same page. After settling on a design, he came in to see a wax mold just to be sure before giving final approval to put the ring into production. Diamond Engagement Rings

Center Stone

The center stone in this ring is a 2.46 carat radiant cut diamond, and its radiant shape is perfectly complemented by the four talon prongs holding it in place. Diamonds are a traditional choice for engagement rings, and this one makes for a truly stunning display.

The radiant cut is used less often than the round brilliant cut or the princess cut in this type of ring, and its use here adds a unique twist to the design. This cut features a rectangular shape similar to what you see in an emerald cut, but with the facets arranged in such a way that the stone is as brilliant as most round cuts.

Side Settings

On both sides of the main stone are clusters of heart shaped diamonds and pink sapphires. The sapphires closest to the top are trillion cut, and those at the bottom of the cluster are round and a lighter shade of pink. Between the sapphires, a heart shaped diamond shines out, and because of the way these stones are grouped together, they’re considered a cluster setting.

Custom Filigree

After seeing our initial design, our client requested we add a bit of custom filigree to the fronts of the ring. We did so, and the result is the lovely looping scroll pattern you see here.
