Engagement Ring Description

This lovely engagement ring features a floral-inspired cluster of diamonds in the center, accented by blue sapphires set into a leaf pattern. It was created as a custom piece for a couple in Mercer Island, WA, and our design team worked closely with them, both online and on site in our Bellevue, WA showroom, to ensure we created exactly the ring they were envisioning.

Cluster Center

The clustered diamonds in the center of this ring provide a nice alternative to a single diamond solitaire, while still offering a nod to the traditional. The use of diamonds in engagement rings is a time-honored practice, and it is due in large part to the way these gems act as symbols of romance, purity, and love. Diamond Engagement Rings

The brilliant cut diamond in the center of this cluster is slightly larger than those in the surrounding halo, which helps reinforce the floral theme. The shared prong setting of the accent diamonds also helps to accentuate this look, and it ties in well with the leaf patterns on both shoulders of the shank.

Sapphire Accents

In order to really make the leaves in this piece stand out, the client chose to work in small round blue sapphires as accent stones. The lovely color of these stones creates a great contrast to the white sparkle of the diamonds above, and it also helps to set the leaf patterns apart from the flower at the top.

Custom Filigree

To tie all elements of this ring together and further enhance the floral theme, we included a delicate hand-made scroll filigree below the stone settings. This adds exquisite detail to the piece, and it also offers you a way to take this design and adjust it to make it your own.

Because these filigrees are made by hand, we can customize them to include something that holds special meaning for you.
