This stunning engagement ring features an oval blue sapphire prong set in the center of a diamond halo, with additional diamond and sapphire accents on the white gold shank. It was created for a client from Renton, WA, who worked with our team both online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to make sure every detail of his piece was perfect. Center Sapphire and Halo

The centerpiece of this ring is a 2.56 carat oval blue sapphire, and it’s prong set in white gold at the center of a diamond halo. The diamonds in the halo are all shared prong set, and they create a great contrast with the center stone to highlight the latter’s rich blue color. Halo Engagement Rings

Diamond and Sapphire Accents

In addition to the diamonds in the halo, there are round shared prong set diamond accents on the shoulders of the 14k white gold shank. These line both strands that are formed when the shank splits close to the top, and they tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo. The accents end around a quarter of the way down the band, leaving the remainder smooth and elegant all the way around.

As a finishing touch, small round blue sapphires are shared prong set along the outer face of the center setting. These serve as an echo of the larger stone in the middle, and they form a thin blue ring around the diamond halo when the ring is viewed straight on from the top for a unique and eye-catching look.
