Engagement Ring Description

This dazzling engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set atop an ornate platinum shank, accented by diamonds, sapphires, hand engraving, and milgrain. It was created for a client from Mukilteo, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to begin the custom design process.

Following that initial visit, he shared several inspiration pieces with our team online, and he worked through the details of the project in this way as well as over the phone. He stopped by the showroom again a few times to discuss desired adjustments to our models, and he came back to us later to have a matching wedding band made. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Setting

At the top of this ring, four talon prongs hold a stunning 1.28 carat round brilliant cut diamond in place. These prongs meet the stone at the compass positions, with the two on the sides flowing smoothly up from the shank shoulders. The positioning of the prongs, as well as their pointed shape helps to give the center diamond a vaguely star-like quality, adding to the classical beauty of the design. Diamond and Sapphire Accents

Bright cut set diamonds line the shank shoulders on both the top and the fronts, and they run up the sides of the prongs that originate below the main setting as well. The bridge pieces running between the prongs hold accent diamonds as well, and each prong features a round blue sapphire, slightly larger than the accent diamonds below, in the topmost position. Milgrain and Custom Hand Engraving

All of these accent stones are framed by lines of milgrain beading, and this continues down onto the lower portion of the band as well. Here, though, it borders an elegant hand-engraved scroll-style pattern that covers the entire bottom of the ring except for a small sizing bar at the lowest point.
