Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in white gold, surrounded by a halo of split prong set diamonds, and accented with additional diamonds and hand-made filigree on the shank. It was the product of collaboration between our team and a client from the Bellevue, WA area, who found some pieces he liked on our website and wanted to customize. We worked to integrate all of his feedback into our CAD models, and we also expedited the process in order to meet his desired completion date. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Setting and Halo

At the top of this ring sits a 0.80 carat round brilliant cut diamond that the client provided. Because he had the center stone already, we built the ring to its specific proportions, and we were also able to integrate specific elements that would highlight the diamond’s particular beauty.

There is a halo of round diamonds surrounding the main setting, all of which are split prong set for a classy vintage look. The client did not initially want a halo, but after finding several halo styles that he liked on our website, he decided to include it in his piece as well. Halo Engagement Rings

Tapered Shank and Diamond Accents

Split prong set diamonds act as a unifying feature on the shank, forging a connection with the halo of the main setting. They taper in size along with the band, getting slightly smaller as they near the main setting, and they stop right at the mid-point going down.

As a personal touch, the client also decided to include a flush set round blue sapphire on the inside of the band. This is only visible when the ring isn’t being worn, making it a special detail that only the couple knows about. Unique Engagement Rings Seattle

Custom Filigree

The space below the main setting is filled with a custom hand-made filigree in the shape of the letters A and S. These are the couple’s initials, and the client worked with our team to find the best way to integrate them into the design. After experimenting with several different placements and styles, he eventually decided he liked this one best, as it provides a fluid grace that perfectly balances with the other elements involved in the design.
