Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a large round diamond bezel set in the center, with a smaller round diamond bezel set off to one side, all of which is perched atop an organic white gold split shank. It was created as part of a complete wedding set that also includes this wedding band, and it can be customized in any number of ways to make it better match your personal style. Center Setting

The larger diamond in this ring is one carat and round brilliant cut. It’s cradled in a bezel setting made of 14k white gold that emerges as a natural extension of one side of the split shank. The bezel setting formed by this strand continues nearly all the way around the stone, but leaves an opening on one side where a second, smaller diamond nestles up against the larger stone. The second diamond is also bezel set within one of the wrapped strands of the split shank, and it weighs 0.10 carats. It echoes the shape of the larger diamond, while its much smaller size allows the main stone to dominate the design. The asymmetrical look this arrangement brings to the center setting works well with the flowing band design to reinforce the organic themes present in the piece.

Organic Band Design

The band begins twisting almost as soon as it starts moving up the sides from the bottom, and one side continues its graceful curve up to the top while the other splits into two thinner strands. This split occurs right around the mid-point, and the two strands that form move outward before crossing back over each other again as they transition into the center setting. After the cross-over, the strand that was originally on the right curls in to form the bezel setting holding the smaller diamond, while the other strand extends to form the bezel setting for the larger stone.
