Engagement Ring Description

This dazzling engagement ring features a radiant cut diamond center surrounded by a squared halo of micro-pave set diamonds, all perched atop a diamond- and milgrain-accented platinum band. The design was developed in consultation with a client from Sammamish, WA, and we’ll gladly work with you to design your own engagement ring.

Radiant Cut Center

The central stone in this piece is a 1.53 carat radiant cut diamond, whose slightly rectangular dimensions make it the perfect anchor for this design. It’s oriented to sit lengthwise along the finger, and its clipped corners are softened nicely by the rounded platinum prongs holding it securely in place. Diamond Engagement Rings

Micro-pave Halo

Surrounding this gorgeous center diamond is a wide rectangular halo of micro-pave round diamonds that slopes on a gentle curve down and away from the main setting. The use of micro-pave makes for an especially dazzling look, as this setting style minimizes the amount of metal that can be seen between the stones. Keeping this in mind, it’s easy to see where it got its name, as it actually creates the impression that the ring is paved in diamonds.

Band Design

The band itself is wide and flat, and it’s accented with three rows of bright cut set diamonds that run half-way down the shank. An additional row of bright cut set accent diamonds line the fronts of the band, stopping at the same point, and all of these are lined with milgrain beading to add a hint of vintage flair in an otherwise contemporary design.

The fronts of the ring below the main setting also feature bright cut set diamond accents, helping to create a completely stunning display and a thoroughly glamorous look. The three rows of diamonds on the band also tie in with the three rings in the micro-pave halo to unite these two areas of the piece.
