Engagement Ring Description

This gorgeous engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond bezel set at the top, flanked on either side by baguette and pear-shaped diamonds, which are also bezel set in platinum. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to begin the customization process. We worked closely with him to find just the right combination of stones and sizes to produce the look he was after, and he came in again to select his center stone and to view a wax model of the piece before approving it to move into production. Center Diamond

At the top of this ring, a 0.76 carat round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set in platinum. The silvery shine of the metal complements the brilliant white sparkle of the diamond nicely, while the frame created by the bezel setting helps to highlight the perfect curves of the stone. The client was concerned with choosing just the right stone for the center, and by coming in to examine multiple options in person, he was able to pick exactly the one he wanted. Baguette and Pear-shaped Diamonds

On either side of the center, a baguette diamond is bezel set in platinum, and the two of these together total 0.25 carats. The baguettes are positioned to sit lengthwise across the band, and they’re not quite as long as the center diamond is in diameter. That slight reduction in width helps to facilitate the transition from the large diamond at the top to the narrower band below. Unique Engagement Rings

On the outside of each baguette diamond is a bezel set pear-shaped diamond, and these are oriented to sit with their rounded ends up against the sides of the baguettes, leaving their tips to point down along the band. The two pears combine to weigh 0.19 carats, and their tapered shape helps to complete the transition from the center to the band.
