Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond bezel set at the top, accented by bright cut set diamonds lined with milgrain on the tapered white gold band below. It’s a piece that brings together both contemporary and organic details to create a vintage-inspired design full of classical flair, and it’s just one of the many gorgeous designs that are part of the Sylvie collection we carry in our Bellevue, WA showroom.

Center Setting

At the top of this ring, a one carat round brilliant cut diamond is bezel set in 18k white gold. The choice of the bezel setting helps integrate the center stone more fluidly into the organic design of the piece, and it also keeps the profile of the ring low. Delicate milgrain beading runs along the rim of the bezel setting, bringing a vintage aesthetic to the design and framing the center stone nicely. Diamond Engagement Rings

Diamond and Milgrain Accents

The top of the band on both shank shoulders is open, with several marquise shapes branching out to fill it while still leaving space between them and the margins of the band. Each of these sections holds two round bright cut set diamonds, and the way they’re arranged makes them look like leaves, a detail which adds an organic element to the design. On both ring fronts, round diamonds are bright cut set in a line up each shank shoulder, and the are shared prong set in a semi-circle below the main setting as well. Two larger round diamonds are prong set in the open space on either side of the marquise sections closest to the center to help fill the space there. All of the bright cut set diamonds are lined with milgrain beading to continue the vintage aesthetic down along the tapered band, helping to unite the piece.
