Engagement Ring Description

This lovely, floral-inspired engagement ring was created as a custom design for a client who wanted to incorporate blue and white stones into a truly unique piece. We worked closely with her to select the right stones and other materials, and to craft an organic pattern that truly reflected her original vision. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Diamond Center

The round brilliant cut diamond at the center of this piece serves as a nod to more traditional engagement ring designs, and its shine is reinforced by the ring of smaller diamonds surrounding it. These are bright cut set in a modified halo setting in which each side comes up from the shank to wrap almost half-way around the center stone. Diamond Engagement Rings

Topaz Highlights

The client also wanted to incorporate some type of blue stones into this ring, and working with our design team, she settled on blue topaz. The stones in this ring are bezel set in a swirling leaf pattern along the shoulders of the shank, and their delicate color is a fitting complement to the brilliance of the diamonds.

Milgrain Accents

The leaves on the shank of this ring, as well as the bands that reach up and wrap around the center diamond, are lined with a delicate milgrain. This gives the ring a more complete look, and it also helps to tie all elements of the piece together.

Platinum Band

Because of the ring’s delicate and whimsical design, we recommended the client go with platinum for the band. Its superior strength and resilience make it a good choice for holding many stones securely, and it is better able to maintain its beauty through the rigors of daily wear when compared to the alternative of 14k white gold.
