Engagement Ring Description

This exquisite engagement ring features an emerald cut diamond in the center, accented with multiple additional diamonds, hand engraving and milgrain detailing. It was created for a client from Naperville, IL, who wanted us to design the perfect ring for her proposal. She started with our original ring #102048, and then requested several modifications, which our team worked in flawlessly.

Even though she was unable to visit our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, our online workroom and the 3D imaging tools we use enabled our client to communicate smoothly and efficiently with our staff. And the end result was that the ring we produced for her was exactly what she wanted in every way.

Main Setting

The setting at the top of this ring holds five stones, with the main one being a 0.90 carat emerald cut diamond. Including a diamond here was one of the customization choices that our client made, as her inspiration piece used an aquamarine in the center position. Diamonds are a more traditional choice for engagement rings, however, and that’s what our client preferred. Diamond Engagement Rings

Set on either side of the center diamond are two baguette diamonds, and beyond those, two more cut in a trillion shape. These certainly add beautiful sparkle to the ring.

Diamond Halo

Surrounding the five larger diamonds in the center is a modified halo of smaller split prong set diamonds. Rather than forming a circle or oval, as many traditional halos do, this one follows the contours of the stones it surrounds, which gives it more of an almond shape. That mirrors the lines of the shank, helping to unite the two parts of the ring smoothly.

Personal Touches

Most of the adjustments to our original designs that our client requested involved adding elements that held personal significance for her and her fiancée-to-be. For instance, she wanted to use a diamond in the center because that was the type of stone her partner preferred. And she also had us add their birthstones, a garnet and an amethyst, to the fronts of the ring beneath the center setting for an even more personal touch.

The final addition to this piece was the custom engraving that covers most of the shank, and this was a special request from our client as well.
