Engagement Ring Description

This dazzling engagement ring features an elongated cushion shaped diamond prong set in platinum, with split prong set diamond accents on the shank below. It was created for a local client who visited our Bellevue, WA showroom personally to take a look at some of the rings we had on display.

He had his own center diamond already, and so he wanted to find the perfect setting to hold it. During his visit, he selected three favorite designs to consider, and after giving it some thought, he settled on the one he liked best. We modified it to fit his center stone, and he quickly approved our design to move the project into production. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Center Setting

At the top of this ring sits a 1.73 carat elongated cushion shaped diamond. Its dazzling sparkle is only enhanced by the openness of the four prong platinum setting holding it in place, and it’s set lengthwise across the band to accentuate its slightly elongated shape. Because the ring he based his design off of was built for a round center stone, we did have to add a gallery rail between the prongs to ensure the structural stability of the setting. The client was fine with this modification, and so we moved forward with the creation of his piece.

Diamond Accents

Split prong set diamond accents run down the shank shoulders all the way to the three-quarter point on the band. These add a lovely sparkle and a glamorous flair to the piece, and they also reinforce the classical overtones of the general design. The three rings that the client had selected on his visit to our showroom mainly differed in the placement and setting style of these accent stones. After giving it some thought, he decided he liked this layout better, and he was very happy with the way the piece turned out.
