Engagement Ring Description

This lovely engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond double prong set atop a white gold shank, with diamond and filigree accents on the fronts. It was created for a client from Arlington, TX, who worked with our team online to develop the design. She began the process by sharing some images of pieces she liked with our designers, and using that information, we drew up an initial sketch for her.

She liked the sketch right away, and so we moved on to creating a CAD model of the piece as we proposed to build it. After requesting a few clarifications concerning several design details, she asked that we raise the center setting slightly, and then she approved the models to move into production. Center Setting

The centerpiece of this ring is a 1.05 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It’s cradled in four 18k gold double claw prongs that curl up around the sides of the stone, narrowing to points as they do so. The client had already purchased the stone when she began working on this design with us, and so we built it to fit the specifications of the diamond exactly. Custom Engagement Rings

Accent Diamonds and Filigree

Directly below the center diamond, each ring front features three shared prong set diamonds in a line. These are up high enough that a straight wedding band with the same dimensions of the engagement ring’s shank would fit flush against it, which is something the client was particularly concerned with.

There is also a custom filigree in the shape of two hearts filling the space below the shank shoulders right next to these accent diamonds. This adds a lovely flow to the ring, and it introduces some extra romantic flair as well. It’s also the kind of detail that’s hand-made by our skilled artisans, allowing us to customize it to a degree to reflect something of particular significance to you and your partner.
