Engagement Ring Description

This beautiful custom engagement ring features a large round brilliant diamond center stone with a criss cross filigree basket, a polished platinum shank, and peekaboo diamonds running around both ring fronts. It was created for a client from Bellevue, WA, who came into our Bellevue location to look at anniversary rings. She decided to combine a few designs, and after initial 3D CAD mock-ups and trying on a wax model, she approved the design, and we created it for her with platinum and diamonds.

Solitaire Look

From the top, this ring looks like a solitaire ring. All the way from the shoulders next to the center down to the bottom sizing bar, the outside is polished and clear of any designs. However, a total of 40 diamonds equaling .29 carats run down the fronts of the ring on the sides of the shoulders, hidden from the top view, making them peekaboo diamonds. Diamond Engagement Rings

Under the 1.39 carat center diamond, there is a filigree basket of criss crossed platinum. It is a nice touch that adds a bit of complexity to this gorgeous design. The basket allows the center diamond to sit high with it's claw prongs holding it in.

Customization Options

There are many ways to personalize this ring. You could incorporate colored stones in the peekaboo sequences, or change the criss cross pattern to something else. Two-tone touches would also be able to make any elements stand out more from the rest of the design.
