Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in the center of a split prong set diamond halo, with additional split prong and bright cut set diamond accents on the split white gold shank below. Center Diamond and Halo

In the center of this ring, a 1.32 carat round brilliant cut diamond sits in a four prong white gold setting. About half-way down the side of the large diamond, a halo of round split prong set diamonds encircles the center, adding a glamorous sparkle to the piece along with some classical flair. The diamonds in the halo also help to make the center stone shine brighter, as they reflect light back up onto it from all sides. Halo Engagement Rings

Band Design and Diamond Accents

The band is narrowest at the bottom and slightly domed. It widens gradually moving up the sides, and this is accelerated once the band splits about a quarter of the way from the top. At the mid-point on each side, split prong set accent diamonds begin, with two larger stones set inline with each other.

Above these two initial accents, smaller round diamonds are split prong set in two rows so that one row can continue up each strand after the split. The diamond accents run all the way up to the top, where the band meets the underside of the halo, creating a uniform and dazzling presentation of diamonds when the piece is viewed straight on from the top down. As a finishing touch, round diamonds are bright cut set along all four of the bars in the basket below the center setting. This completes the glamorous look, and it gives the center setting a satisfying balance as well.
