Engagement Ring Description

This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond in a prong setting atop a split shank lined with bright cut set diamond accents. It was created as a custom order for our client from Bellevue, WA.

Center Diamond

The stone at the center of this ring is a 0.75 carat round brilliant cut diamond, and the openness of the four prong setting holding it in place really lets its beauty shine through from all sides. Engagement rings traditionally feature diamonds prominently, and this piece is no exception. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t build something unique as well. Diamond Engagement Rings

Split Shank and Diamond Accents

The 18k white gold shank splits into two strands close to the bottom of the band, and these move out a bit before coming back in to cross over each other just before they reach the center setting. At the top, their ends curve naturally up to become the prongs that hold the main diamond, a detail that maintains the fluidity of the piece.

One strand on each side is also lined with round bright cut set diamonds for some added sparkle. These begin at the half-way point on the band, and they run all the way up to the spot where the strand begins to transition into a prong in the main setting.

Customization Options

There are many ways to modify this design so that it’s a better fit for your personal style, or so that it includes something of special significance to your relationship. For instance, you could replace some or all of the accent diamonds on the band with a different type of gemstone. Or you could switch to a rose or yellow gold to give the piece a warmer, more classical feel.
