Engagement Ring Description

This stunning engagement ring features a cushion-shaped red garnet center surrounded by a diamond halo, with additional diamond accents on the band. The design was developed for a client from North Bend, WA, who worked with our team primarily onsite in our Bellevue, WA showroom to pick out exactly the right combination of features to create their perfect ring.

Red Garnet Center

The 1.20 carat red garnet at the center of this ring brings a rich, dramatic contrast to the piece, while its cushion shape helps give the ring a hint of art deco flair. The four rounded platinum prongs holding it in place offer a nice counterpoint to its slightly squared outline, and they also allow for a clear view of it from all sides.

Halo and Accent Diamonds

Surrounding the center stone is a contoured halo of round bright cut set diamonds. The shape of the halo mirrors that of the garnet, and the beautiful sparkle of the diamonds helps highlight and intensify the rich color of the larger stone. Halo Engagement Rings

The diamonds in the halo are lined with milgrain, as are the pave set diamonds that run down the shoulders of the shank to about the half-way point on the band. These are also round stones, and the use of a pave setting creates a wonderful sparkling effect by minimizing the amount of visible metal around the diamonds.
